Violet Ref: alc417 30ml Hot Metal Violet Alclad II Lacquers will reproduce a wide range of realistic and durable metal finishes on aircraft,car and truck models,armour and figures. The Prismatic and Transparent colours can be used to create unique customized cars,trucks and polycarbonate/Lexan bodies. Prismatic Finishes-these colours should be applied over a dark base-Alclad Gloss Black Base,Tamiya TS-14 Black or dark auto paint. Spray Alclad Prismatic at 20 psi-use a wide spray patter-cover the model with as few passes as possible. The Prismatic material will seem slightly rough when dry-this is normal. Build up 2-3 coats of clear lacquer,model varnish or 2 pack urethane to obtain a deep reflective finish. Regular Alclad: is similar in strength to lacquer/cellulose car paints-injected polystyrene plastics frequently have areas which Alclad can craze.
